Just a bit of printmaking and painting at Tiger Rabbit Studio this past week!

What a great First Friday! Many thanks to everyone who stopped by with birthday wishes and took home new art. We gave away crow prints faster than Josh could sign them AND introduced some young artists to the press for the first time.

We're open again this Saturday from 12 to 4 PM if you missed it. A couple very last-minute Mother's Day cards and owl collages remain. I still haven't been able to get a decent photo of the framed crow watercolor painting—you just need to see it in person.

Ren here again with process photos of Josh printing his crow linocut for First Friday! Come celebrate Josh's birthday from 6 to 9 PM at Tiger Rabbit Studio. Grab a free print, buy some art, and see Josh's new watercolor painting in person.

I'll have $5 Mother's Day + other cards printed with vintage wood type, metal type, and found halftones. There may also be samples of vegan GF carrot cake, but I can't promise those will last past 6:05 😇

Coming soon: Josh's solo show opening / birthday celebration (May 1st), watercolor workshop tickets (May 16th), and new ways to support free / sliding-scale events at Tiger Rabbit Studio.

Here are some photos of Josh behind the espresso machine and party designer Steph prepping for a packed friends-of-the-studio night cafe.

Josh and Ren also got out of the studio to join their figure drawing group on a trip to the National Portrait Gallery.
