Yoakum Heritage Museum

Yoakum Heritage Museum Preserve the past, promote the present, and pursue the future. The Yoakum Heritage Museum is located at 312 Simpson in the J.K. Elkins home.

The home was built in the early 1900's. Elkins owned a small chain of 5, 10, & 25 cent stores.

Your museum is Now Closed. Lego Builders may pick up their items on August 9th from 1-4 pm, when the museum will reopen.

Our BRICKS TWO exhibit was a huge success. Thank you to all the visitors and exhibitors. Legos they are not just for kids anymore, adults enjoy them as well.

Our next event will be the Ooh La La Paris Gala to be held on
Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Yoakum Community Center.
We will begin selling tickets soon.
