Sumi-e Brush Painting Workshop

“Art Photography” with Art Meier

July 25th, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Wurtsboro Art Alliance gallery (73 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro, NY)

Please bring your own 35 mm camera. Art will cover camera settings, composition and moving from photography to art! You will practice taking pictures and moving outside to capture nature in our garden. Notes will be provided for you to take home. Maximum 10 students, ages 10+.

“Intro to Drawing for Kids” with Debra Lopez

TWO SESSIONS:
July 2nd, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
July 16th, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
at Wurtsboro Art Alliance gallery (73 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro, NY)

Debra will be introducing youngsters to the art of drawing. They will learn the basic rules to drawing with pencil and paper using simple lines and shapes to replicate a picture. Learn to sketch loosely and lightly, breaking objects into basic forms. Supplies are provided. Ages 8 to 16, under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

“Create Your Own Jewelry” with Patricia Blanco

Learn the basics of jewelry making. Using wire, metal, acrylic and glass beads, you can create your own bracelet or earrings to take home. Learn what tools and supplies you need, with visual aids, to assemble your own creations! All supplies provided. Adults, maximum 12 students.
