🕵️‍♀️📜 Calling All Young History Detectives!
The Wray Museum is inviting local students to become history detectives through Decoding 1776, an after-school program exploring the ideas and ideals behind the Declaration of Independence.
Designed for students in 3rd through 6th grade, Decoding 1776 uses stories, artifacts, discussion, and interactive activities to help students discover how the principles expressed in the Declaration have shaped the United States for more than 250 years

🌟 Summer Employee Shoutout! 🌟

We’re giving a well-deserved shoutout to our summer employees, Ellie and Kaitlyn, for their incredible work organizing and cataloguing the North Textile Storage Room! 🧵

Behind every well-cared-for museum collection is thoughtful, often behind-the-scenes work—and this project is a great example. Through careful organization and cataloguing, our summer team has helped improve access to the museum’s textile collection while supporting the long-term preservation and stewardship of these important objects.

We’re grateful for the time, care, and attention to detail they brought to this project. Their work will benefit our collections, staff, researchers, and visitors for years to come.
