We’re making exciting progress on our Restore the Porch Fundraiser!

This photo shows our board members meeting on-site with the first of 3 contractors last week, our first steps in soliciting bids for the restoration of our historic porch. It’s an important step toward bringing the porch back to life, safe for our community, and with the care and craftsmanship it deserves.

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve already raised over $100,000! 🙌 However, we anticipate the full project will require over $150,000 to complete.

We’re so close, but we still need your help to get there. Every donation moves us closer to preserving this important building and the Museum it houses for future generations.

If you haven’t yet, please consider contributing and sharing this post to help us reach our goal. Make your donation through Zeffy https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/restore-the-porch
Or you can reach out to us by DM.

💛 Donate today and be part of preserving our history.

Start the year by learning, sharing, and helping us keep local history alive. Whether you love meeting new people, enjoy storytelling, or simply want to give back, we’d be thrilled to have you on our team. Training is provided - just bring your passion! The museum is open Saturday and Sundays, May through October, and our docents are asked to volunteer for one three-hour session per month.
