c value," it has grown to a campus of several buildings housing exhibit, workshop, and archival space, as well as becoming an active publisher of works of local and historical interest. Admission is free.

Be sure to stop by and view the museum's 2026 Exhibit "ReTern to Sea: A History of Specimen Collecting Boats" before it closes in one month. The exhibit includes artifacts, stories and an insightful video of interviews by Brian Switzer. Hours are Thursday through Saturday 11 - 3 pm, and Sunday noon - 3 pm through September 26th. Complimentary admission, donations appreciated.
