This pastel had a fall that broke its frame and scratched its glazing. We rejoined the frame and fit it with fresh Museum Glass for a budget friendly fix with a little upgrade to visual appeal.

This is a personal job! Rosie first framed her two antique illustrated pages from Harper's Weekly back in 2022 when she was new to framing and had less resources on hand. In this video, she disassembles, repairs, remounts, and refits them.

The original mats were a stark white, which contrasted strongly with the aged paper. The new mats are a light yellow tan that feels much more at home.
