I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity to learn, make connections, and put myself out there… whether it ends up paying off or not. 🫶🏼

Being an artist can be challenging depending on where you live, which is why I think it’s so important to branch out, meet other artists, travel, and look for opportunities outside of your immediate area.

Not every application will be accepted and not every opportunity will work out, but there’s always something to learn and someone new to meet. I’m just grateful to be along for the ride and excited to see where this art journey takes me. 🎨🤍

I finished this painting yesterday, and it still doesn’t have a name. My goal was to create something that felt like hiking through the Boston Mountains… not necessarily an exact place, but that quiet, peaceful feeling you get when you’re surrounded by the Ozarks. 🌳🏔️

Now I need your help. 🍃

What would you name this painting? Or what does it make you feel when you look at it? I’d love to hear the first thing that comes to mind. Your ideas might just inspire its final title. 🫶🏼

Some places don’t just become home—they become part of who you are.

This painting is my love letter to Fayetteville and the very first piece in my Native Ground collection, a series inspired by the places that raised me.

A conversation with another artist challenged me to paint what was around me, and I realized there was no better place to start than home.

My hope has never been to become the biggest artist in the room. I just want to create work that makes people feel something, brings a little joy, and allows me to keep creating.

This piece has been on my heart for a while, and the story behind why I painted it is one I’ll never forget. Every brushstroke reminded me that even when life feels uncertain, we serve a King who never changes.
