Vintage Radio & Communications Museum of Connecticut Telling the story of communications
https://www.vrcmct.org/visit-museum We preserve the history of communications and the technology that enabled it.

We are a museum wholly supported by gate admissions, private donations, special events, and eBay sales. We have radios, teleprinters, typewriters, television, computers, telephone, telegraph, phonographs, and more. A lot of displays are interactive. We also have an extensive library set up for research and literature preservation. We also have instrumentation and test equipment.

Due to the forecast of snow and freezing cold for tomorrow, we are canceling the swap meet scheduled for tomorrow. We have already had several table reservations cancelled. With slippery conditions, it will not only be hard to get to the museum, but it will be hard for the vendors to get their items safely into the building. We will look forward to our next swap meet scheduled for April 11th. Thanks for your understanding.

Swap Meet at the Vintage Radio & Communications Museum
February 7th, 2026, 8 am – 12 pm

Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2026! The museum is excited about the new year because by popular demand we are adding another swap meet to our schedule. This means we will be holding six per year with the first one coming up on Saturday, February 7th at 8 am. These swaps are an opportunity for collectors of vintage communications technology and ephemera from all over the northeast to come together to sell, swap and trade from their collections. The public gets the opportunity to experience a vast array of communications history and tour the museum for free! Yes, the museum will be open all day for free. There is a small fee to set up and display at the swap meet. This event takes place in the Event Center at the museum at 115 Pierson Lane in Windsor, CT. It is a morning event so arrive early as the meet will be over by noon. The museum displays will remain open until 5 pm. For more information check our web site at vrcmct.org, look for us on Facebook or, call the museum at 860-683-2903
