The Cottonwood County Historical Society is hosting a public "Old School Game Day" on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The community event will take place entirely at the historical society museum located at 812 4th Avenue, Windom, MN 56101.

This interactive event is designed for all ages, offering a screen-free space where grandparents, parents, and children can connect over historic toys. Attendees can play a variety of nostalgic, low-tech games that defined past generations, featuring popular favorites such as Checkers, Tinker Toys, Wooly W***y, and many other traditional board games and tabletop activities.

Admission to the Old School Game Day is free, and registration is not required. Visitors are welcome to drop in at any time during event hours.
