📢✨ Big Changes Are Coming to Imagination Station! ✨🔬

Imagination Station is transforming from a Science and History Museum into a vibrant Children's Museum and Science Center! 🚀🎨🦖

To prepare for this exciting new chapter, the museum will be closed throughout this month as we complete facility maintenance 🛠️, remove outdated exhibits 📦, and begin building exciting new interactive experiences on the first and second floors. 🏗️✨

Be sure to follow us on social media 📱 for behind-the-scenes updates 🎬, sneak peeks 👀 of our new exhibits, and the announcement of our October reopening date! 🎉

When we reopen in October, our transformation will still be underway, with additional exhibits continuing to be developed through the end of the year. But don't worry, there will be plenty of FUN and EXCITING things to see and do from day one! 🤩🔭🧪

Our preschool scientists were busy listening to sounds, discovering new smells, and getting hands-on with our sensory table. We love seeing little scientists curious, asking questions, and figuring things out through play!

🚧We're making room for something NEW at Imagination Station and we need 15 sets of helping hands!🚧

Big Changes are coming to the museum, and before we can bring in exciting new exhibits, we've got to clear out and reorganize our spaces. That's where you come in!

Join us Saturday, August 15, 9AM-2PM for a hands-on volunteer day--think teamwork, a little sweat, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped shape what Wilson's kids will get to explore next. 🚀✨

What to know:
✔Ages 16+
✔Comfortable lifting & moving objects
✔Snacks, good company, and serious bragging rights included

Join our Master Gardeners in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census for guided counting throughout the gardens.

📣 15 Volunteers Needed at Imagination Station Science Museum! 📣

Exciting changes are on the way at Imagination Station Science Museum, and we need your help to bring them to life!

Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9AM to 2PM as we clear out and reorganize museum spaces to make room for NEW EXHIBITS! This is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, support your local science museum, and be part of an exciting transformation.

✅ Must be age 16 or older
✅ Ability to lift and move heavy objects required
✅ Great opportunity to give back and support your local science museum.
