🎉 Today is International Museums Day! 🌟🧪🚀

We’re taking a moment to travel back in time ⏳ to where it all began—34 years ago in 1992—when Imagination Station first opened its doors of discovery 🔬 to the children of Wilson and Eastern North Carolina.

We’d love to hear from you! 💬 What are some of your favorite memories from the 1990s and 2000s? Did you beat the Cheetah? 🐆💨

As we celebrate our past, we’re also looking ahead ▶✨ to building a completely new museum experience for the next generation of explorers, innovators, and dreamers. 🌌👩‍🚀

Our BIG PLANS for the future are grounded in the success of our legacy—and the citizens of Wilson will play a special role in helping shape what’s next. 💡🏙️

Join us for a vibrant evening of discovery at Imagination Station! Our next Fabulous Friday is all about Colorful Chemistry, where science comes to life in a rainbow of hands-on activities.

Perfect for school-age children and families, this drop-in event invites you to explore the science behind color through fun, interactive experiments. Create your own UV Bead Bracelet that changes color in sunlight, test acids and bases in a pH Color Change experiment, design beautiful Chromatography Butterflies, and experiment with light at our Color Mixing Station.

Whether you’re mixing, testing, or creating, you’ll discover how chemistry and light work together to make the world more colorful!
