MKT Place Gallery, located at 200 W 9th Street within the MKT Place apartment building, features monthly exhibits curated by Sara A. MKT Place Gallery is a part of The Buccini/Pollin Group’s ongoing efforts to support the downtown arts community and provide exposure to local artists through its BPG Cares Foundation. When renovating the vacant building into apartments, BPG recognized the need for a

community art gallery downtown and concluded that the heavily trafficked corner of 9th and Orange Streets would be an ideal location. MKT Place gallery was opened in October 2017 and has been providing local artists with a public gallery to display and sell their work ever since

ODE: Paintings and Drawings Inspired by Women Around the World Who Create Fabrics, Clothing and Quilts.

Inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship of women across cultures and generations, Carmina’s newest body of work explores color, pattern, memory, and material while paying homage to women whose traditions of sewing, textile design, and quilt-making have made a lasting creative impact around the world.

Join us for the opening of Color Me Glad: I’m So Glad He Changed Me by JaQuanne Leroy during Art Loop Wilmington.

Well look at that — MKT Place Gallery has been nominated for Best of Delaware in Arts, Fun & Entertainment!

If you’ve ever stepped into the gallery and felt the vibe, the creativity, or that “something special is happening here” energy… that’s exactly what this nomination is recognizing.

As the gallery’s curator, I (Sara A. Crawford) have truly loved shaping this space — collaborating with incredible artists, activating new ideas, and watching MKT Place become a creative home for so many. It’s been one of my greatest joys.
