🕯️ A few tickets for Stories by Candlelight have opened up!
Book here: https://buff.ly/jHxLRk4

The 1719 Museum presents Stories by Candlelight this Friday. This year's Herr House program will focus on the Ausbund, the earliest Mennonite hymnal that originated in Switzerland.

Two copies of the Ausbund in Mennonite Life's rare book collection, pictured here, have connections to the 1719 Herr House. One includes an inscription stating: "This book belongs to me, Hans Herr, at New Strasburg... in 1724," followed by inscriptions made by a Christian Herr in 1759.

Photographs of the second Ausbund with a Herr connection, formerly owned by Martin Mylin, will be featured at the Stories by Candlelight event.
