We have a fantastic little Curiosity Shop filled with all kinds of interesting, unusual, and sometimes one-of-a-kind items. And then there are the books — and I mean an abundance of books! With our Bookshop and other locations, there is certainly no shortage of something interesting to read or give as a gift.
One of our real treasures is our large collection of old Life magazines. We have copies dating all the way back to 1936, with many issues from the 1960s and a good part of the 1970s.
Wouldn’t it make a wonderful and unusual gift if you could find a Life magazine from the year and month — or maybe even the week that someone special was born, married, graduated, or celebrated another important event? Imagine giving that to a husband, wife, parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or old friend. It would be a little piece of history from their own life.
And there is much more. We have jellies and jams, bookmarks, beautiful decorative paper art, collectibles, books, and all sorts of interesting surprises between the Bookshop and Curiosity Shop.
