ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE ALL BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST ARE SAINTS.
The original Greek word translated as "saint" is hagios, which means "holy one" or "set apart."
In the New Testament, ALL Christians are saints. It is not something the church determines , it is what God has predestined by grace.
Sixty-two times in the NT the writers refer to believers as "saints." Here are a few examples.
• 1 Corinthians 16:1 – "Now concerning the collection for the saints..."
• 1 Corinthians 16:15 – "...they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,"
• 2 Corinthians 1:1 – "...with all the saints which are in all Achaia:"
• 2 Corinthians 8:4 – "...the fellowship of the ministering to the saints."
• 2 Corinthians 9:1 – "For as touching the ministering to the saints..."
• 2 Corinthians 9:12 – "...not only supplieth the want of the saints..."
• 2 Corinthians 13:13 – "All the saints salute you."
• Ephesians 1:1 – "...to the saints which are at Ephesus..."
• Ephesians 1:15 – "...and love unto all the saints,"
• Ephesians 1:18 – "...riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,"
Can you believe I am a saint? 😉 Only in and through Christ is the impossible made possible. "Oh, to grace how great a debtor." That's me ... and you.
