Experience the sounds and history of automated music at the Music House Museum. Daily tours of this one of kind collection of rare instruments take visitors on a trip through music history. Hear Gershwin play Rhapsody in Blue on the Weber Duo Art Grand Piano and experience

the beauty and grandeur of the 32ft wide, 1922 Mortier Dance Hall Organ and so much more! Guests not only see the artistry and science of these marvels and also hear them play! The Museum is housed in remodeled turn of the century barns complete with parlors, a general store and even a saloon. Shop in our unique gift shop or rent the Museum as a beautiful venue for weddings or parties. It is located in the beautiful, orchard-filled rolling hills of Grand Traverse Co., just north of the Traverse City on US 31N. Continuous daily musical tours are given May through October, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from noon to 4 PM and the Museum is open on Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM in November and December as well as all week between Christmas and New Years. On Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Interlochen pianist Hyemin Kim will be joined by Khanh Nhi Luong, Third Prize winner of the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition, for a joint recital titled "Souvenirs of Austria." The program features their respective solo performances of Franz Schubert’s Piano Sonata No. 20 in A Major, D. 959, followed by Johannes Brahms’ 6 Klavierstücke, Op. 118.
