Former resident of Whitsett,PA
Jeffery Allen Coyne, 59 years old of Clearfield, PA died on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at his home. Jeffery was the son of Phyllis J. (Poorman) Coyne of Osceola Mills, PA & the late George Frederick Coyne, Jr. (who died on February 16th, 2011). Jeffery was a graduate from the Frazier High School with the class of 1984. He is preceded in death by his father and an infant sister (Anna Marie Coyne), who died on November 21, 1966. Jeffery is survived by two sisters: Barbara (Coyne) Nearhood, of Clearfield, PA and Lucy (Coyne) Knepp of Myrle Beach, South Carolina; four brothers: George Frederick Coyne, of Pittsburgh, PA, Johnathan "John" Coyne and his wife Violet of Philipsburg, PA, Timothy Coyne of Johnstown, PA, and Joey Coyne & his wife Angela of Osceola Mills, PA; also survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends. Jeffery will be missed, by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May Jeffery rest in Eternal PEACE. Whitsett Historical Society/Whitsett,PA Jeffrey A. Stunja, webmaster 15Feb25.

Former Whitsett, PA Resident
Wesley Lawrence Leggon, of Uniontown, PA was called home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to be with the Lord. Wesley was the son of Charles Leggon and Lorraine Davis. Wesley graduated from Frazier High School, where he was an active member of the High School marching band. After graduating he moved to Pittsburgh, where he worked at PNC Bank for several years, before returning home to Uniontown, PA where he became a Home Health Aid. In addition to his father, Wesley is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence & Virginia (Stevenson) Davis; uncle & aunt, Chauncey & Catherine Lippencott; and uncle Kenny Johns. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lorraine Davis of Whitsett, PA; sisters: Marie and Cherie Leggon of Los Angeles, CA; niece
Gabriella of Los Angeles, CA; uncles: James Davis of Pitcairn, PA and Albert (Darlene) Davis of Carrolton, GA; aunts: Barbara Johns of Uniontown, PA and Daphne Davis of Alexandria, VA; special cousins: BeTron Lippencott of Maryland, Monica (Charles) Pope of Frederickburg, VA, Starr (Larry) Ponds of Stone Mountain, GA, Jennifer Davis of Monroeville, PA, Nick (Kara) Davis of Monroeville, PA, Taylor (Stephen) Dillard of Uniontown, PA, and Terine Johns of Uniontown, PA; a very special friend, Aaron Statton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
