Thank you to Lassen County Public Works, Chad Wallace, Si Bollinger. The cemetery sign project was many years in the making. It is dedicated to the memory of Carol Oxford Mason, (WHS Class of 1959) who persisted in its creation.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our annual dinner this year. We look forward to greeting you in 2027. The museum will open May 8 with our annual bake sale. Hope to see you there. Details to follow.

We were thrilled when Tim Steinmeier and his wife Gayle arrived with a scale model of Tim’s childhood home at 410 Cedar. He constructed it using tiny 2x4s and thousands of hand cut shingles. He used family photos and pictures he took in 2019 to get everything perfect. He even painted wear marks on the stairs. It will be placed in a diorama of the lot with the garage and trees. Thank you for allowing us to share this, Tim.

We worked on cleaning and organizing the Maidu display today. Thank you Si Bollinger, Debbie Christie and Sheri for your work. A huge thanks goes out to Alex de Martimprey for donating his time and materials for new lucite doors. Come on by and take a look.

New display of Westwood Credit Union sign donated by Marty Growdon. Thank you Luke Mayne for hanging it. The Credit Union was located at 312 Birch Street in 1930s and 40s.
