The Chautauqua County Historical Society will begin Phase II Renovation work at the end of this year, focusing on repairs to two main display rooms - the Parlor and the Surveyor Room.
The total cost is estimated at $71,000. To date, we've raised $47,400, thanks to funding from the Village of Westfield, the Greater Buffalo Community Foundation, the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, and a major donation from a long-time member and supporter. CCHS has also appropriated some of its own funding for this project.
Now we're asking the general public for support! You can help us close the gap on this important project, which involves replacing and restoring several window frames, repairing water-damaged walls, removing damaged wallpaper, and other work that will ensure our museum provides a safe environment to display our artifacts.
To donate, visit CCHSMcClurg.org/get-involved or scan the QR Code on our flyer! Every dollar donated in August will go toward this project. Thank you in advance! - CCHS Board of Trustees
