Truth be told, I didn’t watch the last night. But after the Will Smith slap of Chris Rock, Denzel Washington apparently gave him some valuable life advice.

The simple message he told him was the truth. The devil always wants to knock you down when you are doing well. He always attacks you when you least expect it. He always wants everyone to not be their best so they will turn to him instead of God.

So, be careful today. If things are feeling great, be aware that the devil is ready to pounce one you and knock you down.

Instead, use this opportunity to lift God up! Anytime you have the opportunity, make it about God and not about you.

The devil will hate it and retreat. God is good.
