Thanks so much to Miss Linda for a super fun musical Preschool Storytime this morning!! We sang lots of songs, learned finger rhymes, and read stories about fall things like leaves 🍁 and pumpkins 🎃!! Then we painted/stamped fall leaves using Q-tips to make a beautiful fall picture!

Thank you to the Montrose Health Center for sponsoring our Senior Crafternoon today! Victoria, from Lee County Floral, led the ladies in decorating fall pumpkins! Loved how everyone’s pumpkins turned out so unique! Julie Sonnebron’s pumpkin won the best decorated award by the class! Next Crafternoon is Tuesday Nov. 3 at 1:00 pm where we will be doing a turkey craft perfect for Thanksgiving! Call the library at (319) 837-6315 to register!

So excited to share the before and after pictures of our new cabinets and countertops! Cabinets were custom made and installed by John Hunold and the countertops were from Elite Stone. We are deeply grateful to Ralph and Patricia Hoenig for their generous gift to the library which has helped fund our beautiful new cabinets and countertops and will benefit the library for years to come. Feel free to stop by and take a look!
