5:30-6:30 pm FREE. All welcome. Celebrate America’s 250th in Fleischmann Pier Park. Musket salute to honor veterans & active duty military. Fife & drum & fiddle. At 6 pm Gen. Washington reads the Declaration of Independence opening words. 250 years ago, on July 9, 1776, he read these words for the first time to the troops in NYC.

6:30 pm RMS Cruise ticket holders begin to board

7-9 pm Cruise. Mingle on-board with George & Ben, soldiers & revolutionary women. Play American Revolution Trivia with emcees Benedict Arnold & Major John AndrΓ©. Learn history tidbits from John Farrell, educational coordinator Philipse Manor Hall. Cash bar & lite bites available. Toast to Gen. Washington with a complimentary libation! Period dress & dancing to fiddle music encouraged.

The Fourth Annual Rochambeau Festival is a two-day, family-friendly celebration in Yorktown Heights (June 6–7, 2026, 10 AM–5 PM daily) at Rochambeau Park / Yorktown Grange Fair Grounds (99 Moseman Road). Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation, the festival features living history programsβ€”including debates at β€œHunt’s Tavern,” skirmishes and tactical demonstrations, hands-on colonial life experiences (with animals of the day), a bus tour of Yorktown’s encampment sites, colonial games and heritage booths, plus live music, performances, and food & beverage.

THIS FRIDAY!  5:00 PM until 9:00. I'll be spinning under the "Fly" (canvas tent shelter), and Dr. Franklin (Jack Sherry)...

THIS FRIDAY! 5:00 PM until 9:00. I'll be spinning under the "Fly" (canvas tent shelter), and Dr. Franklin (Jack Sherry) will be working with Thomas Jefferson (Jonathan the Storyteller) on writing the Declaration of Independence!

We’re thrilled to be producing Hastings Rev250/America 250 events. Join us Friday, June 5 for an immersive 1776 experience. Save the date and bring the family!
