The West Lafayette Historical Society museum will be open Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. Join us in reliving memories of the Homecoming. We're at 316 W. Main St., West Lafayette, OH. See our collection of old programs and commemorative plates, and much more. ... Did you know: Fred Milligan, Ohio's Director of Commerce, was the featured speaker at the Homecoming in 1948. Martha Jean Briner, daughter of Dr. & Mrs. J.C. Briner, was crowned the first homecoming queen.

Because of this weekend's snow storm and the impending cold weather to follow, the January 27, 2026, meeting of the West Lafayette Historical Society is canceled.

The next work session is planned for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, at 5 p.m. at the museum.
