What is YOUR young person doing this JULY? Where can they have fun AND LEARN at the same time?
There are still spots available for EARLY AMERICAN ADVENTURE CAMP at the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society, in partnership with our friends at Westmoor Park!
AND WE HAVE two themes this year!
WEEK 1 = "Piracy in the 1700s!" (July 6 -July 10)
Did you know West Hartford’s very own Noah Webster wrote a book about the dangers of piracy? Climb aboard & set sail into the 1700s as campers become early American adventurers, learning all about pirates, playing themed-games, & creating hands-on crafts inspired by 18th-century swashbucklers!
WEEK 2= "Early America Through The Seasons" (July 20 -July 26)
Travel through a full year of 18th-century life in one week! By participating in seasonal chores, foods, and traditions, campers will learn how daily life for families in the 1700s changed with the seasons.
Easy-to-pay online--TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE for either week at the link here:
