Frankfort Area Historical Museum

Frankfort Area Historical Museum The museum has sixteen rooms and hallways of artifacts displaying local history. The Genealogy Society is also housed in the museum. to 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to 12 p.m.

Visitors can also stop in for a bite to eat at the Red Geranium Tea Room, which serves meals every Wednesday from 11 a.m. There is a weekly menu special, and fresh pies and cakes are available for desert. Research on the area and on the people of Franklin County is conducted every Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. There is also a quilting room where visitors can see ladies making quilts by hand on Wednesday from 8 a.m.

THE RED GERANIUM TEA ROOM
The Red Geranium Tea Room was happy to serve a group of budding authors and journalists today for lunch. Following lunch, the group toured the museum to fulfill their writing assignment. Each student was to write an article about something they learned about or was impressed about in the museum. Good Luck budding Central Junior High School journalists and authors. The class were students of Morgan Griffith.
