Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center

Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center The Museum is proud to share a variety of exhibits interpreting life in the Valley of the mid-Columbia dating back to the Ice Age.

Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center gathers, engages, and educates people to celebrate and preserve the history, arts, sciences, and rich diversity of our region. Learn about the earth-shattering power of the Great Missoula Flood and how our region was carved and shaped by cataclysmic forces. Discover the famed Clovis Points and learn about the indigenous stonemasons who created these (then)

state-of-the-art spearpoints coveted by tribes all across North America. Learn about the first Western explorers to paddle these shores and the settlers who homesteaded here. Consider the wild landscape that coast-to-coast railroads, an agricultural revolution and the building of the dams transformed into one of the top fruit producing regions in the world. Expand your mind, explore your imagination and get in touch with the roots of our region at the Museum! The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates with the support of the cities of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. We are located in the heart of downtown Wenatchee in two federal style buildings that formerly housed the Wenatchee Post Office & Annex. Admission:
Adults: $5.00
Seniors and students: $4.00
Children ages 6-12: $2.00
Children 5 and under and museum members: Free

Wednesday night our dedicated Branch Out Campaign Steering Committee took the opportunity to celebrate a big milestone with members of the Museum staff.

We are thrilled to announce that we met our philanthropic challenge presented by the late Dean Weidner. This hardworking committee led the charge to raise $2.5M, which was matched by Dean’s generosity. A total of 179 donors from 5 states and every corner of Washington State generously donated between $10-$600,000.

Gifts were given by donors whose families have lived here for generations, new community members, people who are in the process of moving here, and some who have second homes in North Central Washington.

The support for the Museum, this project, and our role as the steward of our region’s history is humbling.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this transformational project to date. We can’t wait for what comes next!

Please note that all Museum locations will be closed next week as this crew gets some well-deserved time off. They have been tirelessly packing and moving just about every aspect of the Museum since May to prepare for Branch Out construction to begin.
