We welcome donations of Wellsville history Our museum is in the original D**e Hose Fire Company Station built in 1897. This location was strategically chosen by the Fire Company so tanner

y workers could quickly assist as needed. The Nathaniel D**e Museum was started in the 1960s. The Thelma Rogers Historical Genealogical Society (TRHGS) actively operates from the museum. Information about our meetings will be posted on this page. We are open from May 1st - November 1st on Wednesdays from 1-4 pm. To coordinate a visit at other times, we are available by appointment - please contact Ann Comstock (President) at 585-593-6724 to schedule. We hope you enjoy your visit to our page.

Who’s Who Wednesday on Thursday (I forgot)
Elton Harder-He was active in the oil and gas industry in the area for over 50 years. He studied in Wellsville public schools. He was a clerk in Fisher’s Dry Goods store on Main Street. He started his oil work as a roustabout. He worked for both Empire and Bradley oil companies. He married Lotta Lee in 1896. He served Wellsville in several groups and boards. He was active in starting the Boanga Club in Scio for employees.
