www.turcotte-gallery.com My work focuses on abstract, minimalist compositions of waves, rich in color, texture, and emotion. Before photography, I was a landscape painter using pastel chalks for their vibrant colors. Now, I use my camera as a paintbrush,

capturing light, motion, and atmosphere with minimal edits. I’m drawn to the pre-dawn and post-sunset hours when light reflects off the sky and water. Using slow shutter speeds, I create a painterly effect that defines my unique style. Living by the ocean, I find constant inspiration in shifting tides, sandbars, and the changing moods of Cape Cod.

Back-to-school season is not only for families with students. It changes the rhythm of entire communities.

Schedules tighten. Evenings get shorter. People start thinking about focus, routines, and the spaces where daily life happens.

That makes August a useful time to look at your walls with fresh attention. "Menemsha Pond, Aquinnah, Martha's Vineyard Golden Rod 01 Sunrise" may be the kind of work that helps a room feel more intentional as the season shifts.
