🍎 CLASS SPONSORSHIP WINNERS! 🍎

A few weeks ago, four local businesses — Turkey Creek Marina, The Walls Art Park, Klein E Group, and Three Rivers Forestry — decided we wanted to do something simple: adopt a local classroom and give that teacher $500 to use for whatever their classroom needs most.

We received more than 25 applications, and we weren't prepared for how difficult choosing just four would be. We read about teachers spending their own money, finding creative ways to give their students more, and doing everything they can to make a difference in their classrooms.

We wish we could have chosen every one of them.

Congratulations to our four $500 Class Sponsorship recipients:

And to every teacher who applied: thank you. Thank you for the time, money, patience, and heart you invest in our kids every single day.

Now we'd like to pass along a challenge.

We challenge other businesses in Humphreys County to adopt a classroom, too.

It doesn't have to be $500. It doesn't have to look exactly like what we did. Pick a teacher. Pick a classroom. Ask them what they need and find a way to help.

There are a lot more than four classrooms in our community that could use a local business standing behind them.

Four businesses. Four classrooms. $2,000 invested directly into local students.
