☀️ This June, join the CVA for fun and creativity all month!
June 3 -- New Exhibit Opens -- see the Wausau Regional Teen WRAP show in the Caroline S. Mark Gallery from June 3 - 30
June 6 -- Wausau Family Pride -- join the fun on the 400 Block from 11:30 -2:00. The CVA will have a arts and crafts tent ready for some summer family fun!
June 8 -- Show and Tell -- Artists are invited to Share your work and Discuss feedback with fellow artists - RSVP on CVA website
June 20 -- Family Day -- Join this Once-a-Month Family Day, a free creative workshop held on the third Saturday of every month
June 27-28 -- Chalkfest 2026 -- The CVA will have extended hours on Saturday and Sunday 10AM - 4PM. Visitors can also grab a lemonade at the Lemonade Stand from 10AM - 5PM!
June 30 -- Last Chance -- View the Wausau Teen WRAP before it closes on June 30.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 & 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 is a bi-monthly event at the CVA where professional and emerging artists connect, share creative work, and receive feedback in a supportive community. Each evening begins with a guest artist who sets the tone for discussion, followed by an opportunity for attendees to present finished pieces or works in progress. Artists across disciplines–including painting, fiber arts, ceramics, tattooing, graphic design, film, and more–are invited to participate. Whether showcasing work or not, attendees are welcome to join thoughtful dialogue, reflect on their practice, and build relationships within our local visual arts community.

Artists, Curators, and Groups interested in submitting must fill out a digital proposal form to be considered for an exhibition. We currently accept show proposals from artists living in 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗮, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗼𝘄𝗮. Submissions with addresses outside of these geographical areas will not be reviewed. Inspired by the colorful world of Frida Kahlo, this Mini-Camp invites young creators to step into a jungle of imagination. In this camp, Frida’s furry and feathered friends will be our guides to explore the joy of making art! For ages 4-6

𝗞𝗹𝗲𝗲'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 - 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶-𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽: 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟲 - 𝟭𝟬
Build a world of shapes, symbols, and splashes of color, inspired by the geometric art of Paul Klee. Klee famously said that "a drawing is simply a line going for a walk," and our lines will walk through vibrant streets, towering skyscrapers and colorful gardens. For ages 4-6

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Campers will explore the big screen through projects inspired by cinematic history, genre and art form.

Think BIG, go BIG! This camp will focus on the creation of large-scale works. From planning to making, Campers will learn techniques for working BIG while exploring the world of public art.
