What did our hometown have…turkeys!!! For 90 years HoKa Turkey Farm (Kauffman Family) raised turkeys. HoKa turkeys weren’t just a Waterman or DeKalb County favorite but sold throughout Illinois. Over the years many area residents were employed at HoKa…often a high schooler’s first job.

My kids attended this building as Indian Creek Middle School but it will forever be WHS ❤️🖤
