We’re getting ready for a busy season at the Museum of Alaska, and we’d love your help!

As we prepare to welcome families, students, seniors, homeschool groups, and Alaska history enthusiasts from across Wasilla and the Mat-Su Valley, volunteers play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and hands-on experience for every visitor.

A few hours of your time can make a big difference by helping with:

🔹Grounds cleanup and outdoor preparation
🔹Organizing visitor and exhibit spaces
🔹Front desk readiness and museum support
🔹Simple projects that help us prepare for summer programs and events

From historic vehicles and aircraft to our growing Fin Whale Skeleton Project, every cleaned walkway and organized exhibit helps preserve and share Alaska’s story.
