In addition, we support the arts with juried shows, workshops.

En Plein Aire 2026

Washington-A postcard perfect town with idyllic Iowa scenery. Washington has what Iowa does best -quality foods, crops on rolling farmlands, pastures of grazing cattle, hogs, sheep, even goats plus big skies, and small-town life, centered around our city square.

Come join us at Art Domestique this June 12th, 13th and 14th to embrace and paint our small-town life. Registration is $30.00. Painting starts Friday night with nocturne painting, continues all day Saturday followed by a free evening meal. Painting resumes early Sunday morning followed by a Quick Paint, then judging and awards at 4:00P.M.
