Washington West Company and Clark Desert Sage Nevada Company had a great district convention today! It was held at 625 East Center Street in Ivins, Utah! It began at 10 am with a very informative training for all DUP company and camp officers. Our ISDUP president, Ellen Jeppson was our expert trainer and an amazing storyteller of inspiring pioneer experiences! Our general meeting for all daughters in our DUP camp was held in the chapel starting at 11 am. At this meeting, we heard the President’s reports from both company presidents and the financial reports from both company treasurers. We had a special musical number directed by Dori Phillips. After the musical number, Ellen was our guest speaker and this meeting concluded with recognizing the outgoing and newly elected captains for each camp. From the chapel, we retired to the cultural hall for a delicious luncheon prepared by our host camp, Desert Sage! A good time was had by all!

We had a wonderful time at our company Jubilee celebrating 125 years of DUP and Brigham Young’s 225th Birthday Party! Held on Feb. 18, 2026 at the Mulberry chapel in Bloomington! Festivities began at 11 am with a welcome from our company president, Helen Furr. Thought and prayer given by Linda Stuart, quotes given from 3 US presidents (George Washington, Ronald Reagan, and Abraham Lincoln) and pledge by Wendy Karren. We sang “The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers” lead by Cathy Baker, accompanied by Tamra Goodrich. Roll call was taken by Judi Roe, company secretary and then a delicious lunch was served by our host: Bloomington camp. Taco soup, salad, and cornbread with cupcakes for dessert and taffy as a party favor to take home. After lunch, Helen Furr and Shauna Bruun handed out membership pins and balloons to the following daughters:
