The Warwick Atelier In the voyage of becoming an artist, one’s perceptions are always evolving. Learning “to see”( I serve as the guide to lead them through the metamorphosis.

My goal is to introduce students to the concepts, principles, and techniques of drawing and painting in a traditional manner. Once they have established these skills their work is to develop their own voice. Some may stay within the traditional arena and others have voices that carry them to another expression. Whatever they choose to do the most important aspect of their work, is to find their au

thenticity. They can achieve a level of freedom once they have the foundation skills. They have the ability to express what they wish. Technical hurdles will no longer hold them back, ..concepts and principles may serve the creation of a more convincing image...no matter the style of expression.
