Just hung a solo show at City Hall in Warsaw, Indiana (102 S. Buffalo St). The show is called "Midwest Moments" and is made up of paintings and prints of local places in Indiana. Including several new pieces.

You can see the art for free during open hours (7am-4pm Monday-Friday). Everything that is hung is currently for sale. Most are original watercolor paintings, but there are also three framed prints as well.

Hope you can check it out. It will be up through the end of December.

Tonight I received an award for "Best Watercolor" from the 48th Annual Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibition. Jurors were tasked with taking 400 submissions down to 180 and then that 180 down to the top piece in 9 categories.

It's easy to feel not worthy when surrounded by so many amazing artists and artworks. I caught myself getting emotional in the Pop Art section of the museum seeing Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, John Jasper, even watercolor paintings from 1897.... And here is my piece hanging in the same building, not to mention winning an award. Such a humbling experience.

It was so nice to talk with other artists and one even telling me how my piece was their favorite of the whole show. Grateful to be able to use the gifts God gave me and share them with others.

Thank you so much Midwest Museum of American Art for such a wonderful night.
