Free Concert Saturday.. The event begins at 4:00 with Gregg Loner hosting Level Land Live. Jacob Eder, an Elvis Tribute Artist, will perform from 5:00 - 7:00. Scoops & Cups will be selling cold treats. The Ware Shoals High School Band boosters will be selling hotdogs to support their trip to Hawaii. Come and join us for an enjoyable event.

The Ware Shoals Museum has relocated from 38 East Main St to 201 McLane Ave. The museum switched because the HVAC system was out at the former Police Dept. The Museum has been receiving quotes for a new HVAC system. (This has been an exhausting process getting companies to get back with us). We will be going to council soon about the HVAC system.

Two rooms have been completed in the museum at the new location. We are having the rest of the museum painted. The first two rooms are about Mr. Riegel and the Ware Shoals Manufacturing Company/Riegel Textile Corporation. The museum wants your input of items that should be in the museum. The following items (in no particular order) are on the list that I have compiled to go in the rest of the museum:

The Ware Shoals Museum was scheduled to be open on Monday, July 13. This date has been canceled so everyone can attend the meeting about the dam that has now been scheduled for Monday. It is very importanant for everyone to attend this meeting. The Ware Shoala Museum will be opened on Monday, July 20th from 5:30 - 7:30.

Happy Independence Day. This article is from the Index Journal on July 4.1912. Riverside Park is the original park on the Saluda River near the dam. The Town of Ware Shoals is rehabilitating Riverside Park. A new shelter has been added and plans for other improvements to the park are being developed.
