My 12 Years in the 🇺🇸 U.S.
Today, September 6th, is a special day — the day I flew to Washington on a fiancée visa to join my future husband.
Over the years, we moved 15 times across multiple states, and I met wonderful friends along the way.
Our family grew with three amazing children — what an incredible joy it is to be a mom!! 🧡
The adaptation period in America came with many challenging moments — like failing my driver’s test, for example. I took the test in different states and even studied for it while pregnant.
I saw my husband off to deployments in hot zones like Pakistan and Afghanistan while I stayed behind living with my mother-in-law.
There were times I cried.
My husband reminded me what a tough cookie I am.
Motherhood isn’t just about changing diapers and feeding — it’s growing from an exhausted, tired mom into someone who’s learned to cultivate my own inner strength.
A mom isn’t someone who’s always on edge, pushing everyone away — but one whose heart is open to her children, ready to embrace their emotions, be present in every stage, support them, and simply be there! 🧡
That’s when I felt I wanted to organize our life — to live without chaos or rush.
For the past 7 years, I’ve been creating systems in every home we’ve lived in. I love decluttering and making a cozy space.
The challenges were varied, but they helped me grow! I realized that my well-being is my responsibility — and my priority!
Everything that happened — even the not-so-pleasant things — was for my good.
Every situation is meant for me — I can make lemonade, or just a lemon 🍋. Now America- is my home. 🏠
