OZtoberFest is BACK, and this year it's better than ever! 🌈✨

Downtown Wamego transforms into the Yellow Brick Road on October 3rd, and you're invited to one of Kansas's most OZ-some fall celebrations. Follow the yellow bricks to a full day of family fun from 10am to 4pm, and it's all FREE to attend!

Our own Amy Marrotte stopped by Fox 43 AM Live with Dane Kroll to give Wamego's fall lineup the spotlight it deserves, and honestly? This season is stacked. 🍂

First up: OZtoberFest is back on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝗿𝗱 in downtown Wamego! Follow the Yellow Brick Road to a free, all-day celebration packed with an OZ Costume Contest, Toto Look-a-Like Competition, classic car show, arts and crafts market, food trucks, and a Beer and Wine Garden along Lincoln Ave. Plus, this year the world's tallest Toto statue makes its debut. Yes, really.

Then, on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵, the curtain rises on The Addams Family musical at the historic Columbian Theatre, running through November 1st. Wednesday Addams has fallen for a "normal" young man and chaos (the best kind) ensues. And our very own Amy is in the cast, playing an ancestor role in the Addams family tree!

John Fricke, the world's foremost historian on The Wizard of Oz and Judy Garland, will join OZ fans live for an intimate, interactive virtual colloquy — streaming directly to OZ Winery for a night of rare stories, hidden Hollywood history, and real conversation.

Ask your most compelling questions. Hear the details that never made it into the books. Share the room (and a glass of wine) with fellow devotees who love the OZ universe as deeply as you do.

No heart? No problem. The OZ Museum in Wamego, Kansas is basically a two-hour reminder that you had one all along.

Walk through Auntie Em's gift shop and follow the yellow brick road past 2,000 artifacts, original 1939 MGM props, hand-jeweled ruby slippers, a real flying monkey miniature, and the death certificate of the Wicked Witch of the East (yes, that's a thing). By the time you're done, you'll feel it ticking again.

Just off I-70 on "The Road to Oz" in Wamego, KS. There's really no place like it. 💛
