Museum of Friends (MOF) M*F is a contemporary art museum, run by artists, endowed by generous gifts of art by artist friends. Opened Thursday through Saturday, from 10 am to 4 pm.

www.museum*ffriends.org The Museum of Friends is considered to be the only and first museum of Counterculture art in the Country, by Art in America. The Museum of Friends is located in downtown Walsenburg, about 2 miles east of the first exit. M*F has a terrific contemporary art collection on the 2nd floor, and an open studio space on the 1st floor right on Main and 6th.

Please join us this Saturday August 22nd at 2 pm when the counterculture artists in "Rooted in Place" will participate in a group panel discussion led by Dean Fleming. The artists include: Sybilla Wallenborn, Linda Fleming, Michael Moore, Jim Flowler, Billy Haynes, Kenny Schneider, Dorian Grey. This lively discussion will be followed by a pot luck at 4 pm please bring a dish, beverage, dessert or just yourself!
