Where the harvest is always golden. 🌽✨

While the reality of farming involves stubborn soil and hard labor, Inocencio Jiménez Chino chooses to paint a "wish-fulfillment." In his world, the crops are forever bountiful, the river is a vibrant blue, and the land is a lush paradise. Swipe to see his agricultural love letter to his home.

One clever rabbit, a thousand different names.

From the Nahuatl villages of Mexico to storytelling traditions across Africa, the Americas, and beyond, the "trickster" rabbit appears as a universal symbol of resilience, wit, and survival. This series brings to life the lore of San Agustín Oapan, where Uncle Rabbit outsmarts the odds on amate paper.

For Inocencio Jiménez Chino, the line between art and activism is etched in ink.

In 1990, Chino and a group of artists used their pens as tools of protest. These pen-and-ink drawings on amate paper tell the story of a community that refused to let its history be washed away.
