Please touch the art!

Jen Lewin’s Light Pools provide an interactive moment, where art revelers are invited to walk on the art. Her work is made of reflective, dichroic glass, creating a dynamic landscape that serves as an interactive light up pathway. During the day, viewers will see a shimmery rainbow and at night, they will see a glow full of interactive color.

Jen Lewin is an internationally recognized artist-engineer based in Brooklyn, New York. Lewin thinks beyond traditional media to create connected human experiences that bring vibrancy to public spaces.

Our traveling exhibition, Reclaimed: The Art of Recology, opens today at Syracuse University Art Museum! Featuring 50 objects salvaged straight from the scrap heap, come see how 33 visionary makers ditched the art supply store to turn everything from recycled paint to discarded tech cables into works of art.

Working with clay for over 30 years, artist Emil Yanos finds inspiration in the Pacific ocean 🌊

Shoreline, sparked by the Point Reyes National Seashore, “evokes the sun, the sand, and the sound of the waves.” While each strip of clay was hand sculpted one at a time, they all come together to create “a singular effect”.

Redefining the boundaries of textile art ✨

High Pile: Concepts in Tufting explores tufting beyond its traditional associations with domestic and commercial craft, highlighting the medium’s role within contemporary fine art as a site of experimentation and conceptual inquiry. This exhibition examines tufting as a practice where color is built through fiber density, form emerges through pile structure, and materiality plays a central role in how the work is experienced.

High Pile brings together 20 artists whose work engages tufting as both a physical and expressive language. The works emphasize process while incorporating elements like abstraction and pattern to convey narratives and cultural meaning. Collectively, the exhibition positions tufting as a vital contemporary medium that is tactile, yet conceptually expansive.

Sharing Indigenous voices through photography and storytelling.

Bedford’s traveling exhibition, Re-Discovering Native America: Stories in Motion with the Red Road Project, opens today at Farmington Museum in Farmington, New Mexico!

Co-founded by Danielle SeeWalker (Húŋkpapȟa Lakota) and Carlotta Cardana, The Red Road Project shares the stories of Native American individuals and communities through powerful portraits and personal narratives, celebrating the diversity, resilience, and contemporary experiences of Indigenous peoples.

🌿 When the Dust Settles reflects an inner call for peace and renewal. Inspired by the beauty and vulnerability of the California landscape, the work uses jagged edges, wrapped and coiled threads, and dangling fibers to evoke a living landscape shaped by a changing climate and a complex world.

For Sue Weil, weaving offers a space for stillness and reflection, “allowing my hands to think.” Through its spare, abstract forms, When the Dust Settles invites viewers to pause, connect with their own experiences, and consider the possibilities of peace and renewal.

Layers of memory, landscapes of healing 🌿

In Past That Hill, Melissa Mohammadi explores trauma recovery through a deconstructed tunnel book inspired by the steep cliffs, winding highways, and resilient trees of the Diablo Range.

Created with tea-stained paper, intricate intaglio prints, and a drypoint tree, the work reflects the layers of memory and the excavation we undertake as we heal.

Our traveling exhibition, Personal to Political: Celebrating the African American Artists of Paulson Fontaine Press, is now on view at Janet Turner Print Museum, the final stop on a national tour that began in 2018!

Sourced from Berkeley’s renowned Paulson Fontaine Press, this show features over 40 dynamic prints by powerhouse creators like Kerry James Marshall, Woody De Othello, and the Gee’s Bend quilters.

In Astonishing Light #4, the desert is reimagined not as an isolated wasteland, but as a masterclass in profound resilience.

Blending the body directly into the Southern California terrain, this photo draws on Middle Eastern ancestral memory to explore climate adversity and healing. It calls us to move in harmony with the earth, turning scarcity into strength while honoring the quiet power of vulnerable landscapes.
