I just have to brag on my little one for a minute. She’s 12 years old and making big creative strides. For tonight’s show, she painted my Twenty One Pilots nails freehand, using supplies she mostly bought herself. And she made over $100 this weekend selling her handmade jewelry. I’m so proud of her!

I hardly ever make something that’s I’m not going to put up for sale. I saw this blank wreath in hobby lobby yesterday and I thought, why not? I went to the thrift store and bought some flannel shirts to cut into strips to make garland. Feels nice to do something just for us. Sorry for the terrible filming lol, not used to trying that…

I always forget to post pieces when I’m done. This took a while and there’s a few parts I’m disappointed with, but otherwise it turned out pretty good! I finally figured out how to make these 3-d pictures not weigh a ton. Message me if you want more details about it.

It’s never to early to commission personalized handpainted ornaments! These are of Bear and Bree the Dalmatians. I painted 3 of each for the owner’s children. These make a great gift, or you can display them on the wall lol year as regular art! Any kind of pet can be painted, whether it dog, cat, horse, cow, goat, chicken, turtle, elephant, andominus Rex, you name it! 😂. Each ornament is $25 and includes a name on the back.

Corvette logo Senior parking spot at Princeton High school! This was pretty cool (but not the temperature, I think I was literally about to go into heat stroke even with being under a canopy and a fan). I couldn’t believe how long the black took, the heat and soaking into the concrete made it take the entire gallon can! I only used a t-square to help me make sure the logo proportions were correct. So many people on Facebook were shaming the dad because he had an artist do it instead of his son painting it himself, but he knew his son didn’t have confidence in art skills and didn’t want him to be embarrassed about it. I was happy to do it and supplement my family’s income with the commission. I thank God for the talent he blessed me with to pull it off, and for not letting me die in this horrible Texas heat!

Summer break is almost over. I keep forgetting to show what’s going on at our little farmstead. My mom pal from school gave me a sourdough starter, so naturally I named it Tyler Doughseph, and his baby is Heavy Discard Soul. I made some discard banana bread, pretty good. I finally used him to make a dessert fruit pizza crust too (forgot to take a picture). I wish we liked cucumber main this house more, because my cucumber plant is the best thing I have growing. Our fig tree is a close second tho. Tons of okra. I grew those potatoes. 15 chickens roaming the yard. I picked the carrots a little too early, thankfully there’s plenty more still in the ground. Awesome fireworks at our family reunion in Fulton, MS. Went to Scout Camp. 2 1/2 weeks til school. Good times.
