Thank you to everyone who came to the Wallace Huckleberry Festival. 💜

We hope to see you again Labor Day weekend, for the 2026 Under the Freeway Flea Market, hosted by the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot Museum.
Make sure to grab a day pass and stop by all three of Wallace's fabulous museums, including the Wallace Mining Museum.

This project features contemporary portraits of local residents, stylized to echo the visual aesthetic of the Barnard-Stockbridge collection, and paired with audio interviews that share their stories! 📸

Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

On July 3rd, Wallace will have our annual Statehood Day parade starting at 1pm at the Elks. Make sure to stop by the Historic Wallace Photo Museum before or afterwards, check out our parade exhibits, and support North Idaho history!

We will be closed on July 4th, then reopen on July 5th.

88 years ago on this day, June 3rd, Nellie Stockbridge and team lugged heavy camera equipment up a mountainside to capture this phenomenal photograph of Wallace, ID.

Originally taken on a small 3.5x6 glass negative, it remains preserved in the Barnard-Stockbridge Collection at the University of Idaho for all of us to enjoy.
