The Waldwick Museum of Local History (WMLH), located at the restored Waldwick Train Station, is preparing for its official opening currently planned for Sunday, May 15, 2016. The Waldwick Community Alliance (WCA) has spent the past 7 plus years readying the Waldwick Train Station for this momentous occasion. The citizens and businesses of Waldwick have enabled us to reach this point by their continuous support and generosity.

In order for the museum to be a viable one for our Waldwick Community, we are asking citizens and or businesses if they have any artifacts that have a historical significance reflecting on the history of the town or of the Waldwick Train Station that they would either like to donate to the museum or loan them for a specified period of time for display during one of our display cycles.

Artifacts can include old papers, photographs, art work, police and fire department items, military items, school items, railroad memorabilia; tools vintage signs, carts, wagons, crates, barrels, trunks, medicine bottles or any items that you think would enhance the history of Waldwick.

Members of the WCA will be present at the Waldwick Train Station located on Hewson Avenue on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. to 4 P.M. to accept any artifacts that you may have.

If you have additional questions that require additional information or in the event that you are unable to attend Artifact Day on March 13 and you would like to schedule a meeting to discuss your artifacts please call 201-873-8919.
