Thank you Dean Wong for including us in this amazing reception celebrating artist Steve Tobin and his installation! Amazing pieces connecting earth and sky. Connection is so important and what our island needs! Gave my sculpture, Will Smith a little squeeze and enjoyed seeing the gifts in his basket and the whirly gig attached to him. Love that kids get to touch and relate to him! It was so wonderful to walk the garden and hear the sculptor share his stories. Each piece is very tactile and interesting. They reminded me of roots.

Honored to say I got two pieces in the annual juried art event at the Hui No'eau this year! It is a virtual experience this year on Facebook live! One of two pieces are here...She is titled, "My Hero". My red, white and blue super hero, mother of all, connected to nature...and the things that matter. Check out the show for my other piece titled "Day Dreamer". These thoughtful mixed media pieces are fun to create and give me so much space to just "emote".

This honorable project will be in front of the Charlie Naylor recovery center and the Will Smith Zoo school. Two beautiful boys to remind us to love each and every moment we have together. It will be a symbol of hope, honor, and encouragement to give strength. It’s also important to recognize how art makes us step out of our mind and reflect on what’s right in front of us. Live in the moment. Find peace in our daily lives. Charlie and Will are being cast in bronze at the 2 Ravons Foundry in Tacoma, Washington.

As I sculpt this little boys ear...I think about the times I have cleaned my boys ears... it sounds funny but at times when I sculpt these clear vivid memories come to mind. Another thought.... the ear is quite complicated, like people. Let’s really take some time this season and listen to eachother, it will inevitably make things less complicated. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I have a fun new collection of smaller wall hangings. I call them the "Spirit Keepers". Each piece has their own personality and they are small to hang in special places. Each one is about 3"in width and not over 17" in height. These sculptures have their own meditative quality...and sold very well in my travels. This is what is available now, the last image is titled "Amakua" and is not a wall hanging.....Please contact me with any questions.
