Well,all in all, yesterday went pretty well. We put a lot of time and effort into making a great experience for everyone who showed up. Can't thank my Wife, Patty, and my Sister in law, Jenny for all their help yesterday. You two were great. We had 30 plus people attend. Had a few fellow collector show up. Always great , because they have some idea what's involved in this mess!!! Lol. But what really astounds me is, the people from around here, that l have tried and tried to get to come visit finally do. And they're like "Wow, this is amazing, we want to bring our kids too see this. " Most people have no clue about M&M's merchandise . The looks on their faces is priceless. Kyle Herschelman said it best. He was doing an article on us before our Grand opening. He told me everything he says to his phone, he goes back to the office, plugs into his computer and it prints it out so he can read it. He talking to it, he opens the door, and says "Holy S**t!!! I can't print that!! I loved that, tell everybody that visits!! Stuff like this makes it all worthwhile. Thanks to everyone who has visited and supports us, and looking forward to all our future visitors! And thanks again for a really great weekend!

On 10/9/26, we had a visit for Rick and Diane Pray from Indiana. They are fellow collectors. I'm terrible with names, little better with faces and after talking to them for little l remembered from our conventions. We had a good long visit and l think they enjoyed their tour. They even liked our Stymie Dog. We thanked them for coming and they left heading for Springfield for supper.

Well , if you're out and about, today would be perfect for a visit. The town is having a Route 66 Celebration. They are serving popcorn and lemonade at the old Railroad Depot. We are serving free hot dogs, chips, slushy, and water, while supplies last. So come help us celebrate Route66 100th anniversary. Food is from 10:00 to 4:00. Thanks.

Today, 9/28/26, l was in the house and Stymie came flying in , so l figured someone was outside. When l came out this group was taking pictures. I asked if they would like to see inside. The first lady said she spoke a little English. She asked if l spoke Portuguese or Spanish. I said hell, l can barely speak English. She laughed and said where from Brazil! Doing the Route 66 thing. They looked for awhile. One of the guys noticed my Nova and wanted to look at it. She told me ,he was a car collector. So l showed him the rest of mine. They all thanked me and left happy!!!

On October 10, 2026, our little village of Waggoner, will be celebrating 100 years of Route 66. There is supposed to be a car cruise from somewhere around St.Louis passing by here going to Springfield. The town will have 3 "main" attractions. The first being the old school, it will have public bathrooms and a playground for the kids that was paid for by Steven Spielberg. In honor of his wife's grandfather, Penny Nail who lived here. Second will be the old Green Diamond Train Depot. The local church will be offering free popcorn and lemonade. Last but not least, our museum will be open all day for tours but , from 10:00 to 4:00, or while supplies last, free hotdogs, chips, slushies, and water. And always free M&M's samples. So if you were ever interested in coming to Waggoner for a visit, this should be the perfect time, thanks.
