This image of one of the old mills in Wading River shows it in an already deteriorating condition. One mill was for grain and was one for sawing planks. One was located at the Mill Pond (see posts from March 10 and April 4), and another just east of the Josiah Woodhull House (see March 5 post). There was a third mill which may have been located near the mouth of the Wading River. This one appears to be the one by the Mill Pond.
