Newest art installed by Jim and me yesterday at Kizuna Restaurant near Tyson's in McLean, VA. Come see it! The 36"x60" dimensions ensure maximum impact in the space. Jim has reproduced a file of a 19th century Japanese print by artist Ando Hiroshige on Swiss fine art canvas with Hewlett Packard inks, then coated the print with "craquelure anglaise" (English crackle finish) so that it can be dusted and last for decades. I stretched the piece before it was framed. The inks are certified by HP to last 200 years! 19th century engravings often came in unusual dimensions. Jim found a unique 1855 vista of the Susquehannah River and Harrisburg, here in a 5x38 size. The print also comes in a larger, 8x58 size.

This 18x36 1855 engraving of Harrisburg will be featured at Millworks and the Mid-Town Scholar Bookstore. In the close-up below, Millworks is the red brick building across the street (northwest) from the two old market buildings.
