I just finished Episode 8 of the YouTube series tonight! Bert Everett is a native of Norfolk, VA and was assigned to the 120th AAA Battalion in Alaska during the Korean War. Besides interesting points of view as a solider in Alaska, he provided numerous beautiful 35mm Kodak slides he took while there.

The Heroes of Hampton Roads Project is a Veteran interviewing program I run in partnership with the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum.

I interview local veterans about their service, edit it, and publish the interviews on YouTube. Currently, the channel has 6 interviews with many more on the way. Hopefully you or a friend in the Hampton Roads area will be next!
